What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of general ledger accounting professionals through month-end close and reporting cycles.
• Manage overall accounting deliverables, including the review of monthly journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Analyze and resolve complex accounting, reporting, and process issues across various departments.
• Ensure financial statement schedules comply with US GAAP and internal company policies.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to provide necessary documentation and support.
• Identify process improvements and contribute to the development of sound internal controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (Master’s degree preferred).
• 10+ years of professional accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting functions and US GAAP principles.
• Ability to lead teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Fluent English proficiency.
• Must be based in Westlake, Texas.

• Prior experience working within a global organization and the software industry.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Cognos.
