What you will do

• Execute month-end close processes and prepare assigned journal entries.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain fixed asset reports.
• Assist with invoicing tasks, including billing templates and expense reconciliation.
• Collaborate with business units and external auditors to ensure financial compliance.
• Recommend and implement improvements to accounting controls and procedures.
• Serve as a backup for various finance department functions as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• 0-2 years of experience in an accounting role.
• Proficiency in complex spreadsheets and accounting systems.
• Must be based in Overland Park, KS, USA.
• Ability to thrive in a team environment.

Nice to have

• Public Accounting experience.
• CPA certification or currently on the CPA track.
• Experience with Microsoft D365.
