What you will do

• Lead the Agile Release Train by facilitating SAFe ceremonies including PI Planning, ART Sync, and System Demos.
• Coach Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and teams on SAFe principles and continuous improvement.
• Drive program-level execution, tracking progress toward PI objectives and managing cross-team dependencies.
• Lead and mentor the DevOps Systems Team responsible for CI/CD pipelines, build automation, and platform services.
• Prioritize the team backlog to balance feature delivery, platform reliability, and technical debt reduction.
• Monitor ART and DevOps flow metrics to guide improvement efforts and report status to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Must reside within the continental US
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in large-scale software delivery, including 3+ years in an RTE or Program Manager role.
• Demonstrated experience leading an Agile Release Train using the SAFe framework.
• Strong understanding of DevOps, DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and platform operations.
• Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Ability to obtain a Government clearance

Nice to have

• Experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs tools and processes.
• Background in federal contracting and security compliance.
• Relevant certifications such as SAFe RTE, SAFe SPC, or AWS certifications.
• Hands-on background in systems engineering or software development.
