TL;DR

Business Development Manager (Sales): Driving top-of-funnel strategic prospecting and lead generation for a regional growth team with an accent on building credible relationships with senior digital leaders. Focus on designing targeted outbound strategies, qualifying high-quality opportunities, and collaborating with the Client Partnerships team to drive business growth.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Manchester or Leeds, UK (Hybrid role).

What you will do

  • Design and execute research-driven outbound prospecting initiatives to engage senior digital leaders.
  • Build and nurture relationships with CIOs, CTOs, and CEOs to identify strategic challenges.
  • Lead outbound strategy by identifying and engaging with relevant conferences, events, and forums.
  • Qualify incoming leads and outbound contacts to ensure a smooth handover to the Client Partnerships team.
  • Collaborate with the regional BD team to meet annual growth targets.
  • Maintain a clean and updated sales pipeline using structured processes.

Requirements

  • Must be based in or able to commute to Manchester or Leeds, UK.
  • Strong relationship management skills with the ability to build trust quickly.
  • Deep understanding of the tech and professional services landscape.
  • Knowledge across at least three areas: digital, business strategy, AI, marketing, technology, Agile, or change management.
  • Ability to hold peer-to-peer conversations with senior decision-makers.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
