Focus on shaping portfolio governance and leading a team of operations managers to drive value across a complex digital product environment.

Location: Must be based in the UK (Hybrid, with presence at hirify.global offices in Cardiff, Glasgow, London, or Salford).

Salary: £65,400 - £87,133 per annum.

What you will do

  • Surface trade-offs and sequencing decisions across the digital portfolio.
  • Identify cross-team dependencies and coordination risks to enable leadership intervention.
  • Synthesise portfolio data into decision-ready narratives for executive forums.
  • Lead and develop a team of Senior Operations Managers.
  • Set standards and ways of working for the newly established Portfolio Alignment function.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to form a coherent view of delivery and investment context.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the UK and eligible to work in the UK.
  • Proven experience operating in complex portfolio or programme environments.
  • Strong ability to synthesise operational data into clear executive-level insights.
  • Excellent facilitation and stakeholder influence skills, particularly with senior leadership.
  • Ability to operate in ambiguity and shape evolving ways of working.
  • Analytical capability to interpret portfolio data and create decision-ready narratives.

Nice to have

  • Experience preparing executive reporting or QBR materials.
  • Background working with Product, Engineering, Data, Finance, and Operations leadership.
  • Strong understanding of portfolio governance and delivery trade-offs.
