What you will do

• Develop a security platform to process reported security findings and enrich data for deeper insights.
• Implement large-scale data pipelines to ingest, aggregate, and deliver prioritized actionable lists of findings.
• Design practical and complex data models to enable analyst use of processed security data.
• Ensure high data quality, reliability, and observability across the platform.
• Create insights and dashboards to facilitate risk prioritization and security posture views.
• Collaborate closely with DevOps and application engineers on shared pipelines and contracts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in data engineering and operating scalable production platforms.
• Strong programming skills in Python and adherence to software engineering best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks (Delta Lake, Structured Streaming, Unity Catalog) and Medallion architecture.
• Proficiency in operationalizing workflows via CI/CD and tools like Terraform.
• Must be based in or able to work in a hybrid setup in Utrecht, Netherlands.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with GraphQL and schema-first APIs.
• Experience with graph technologies such as Neo4j.
• Affinity with AI/LLM-driven analytics or insights.
• Knowledge of risk/threat modeling frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK.
• Experience with security data domains (SAST, DAST, SCA, CSPM, vulnerability management).
