What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
• Build and optimize data solutions using Databricks, Apache Spark, and AWS.
• Develop high-quality, maintainable code using Python and data engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with product teams to understand data requirements and business logic.
• Create and maintain data models, data quality, and monitoring processes.
• Improve performance, reliability, and scalability of existing data infrastructure.

Requirements

• Must be based in the EU
• 5+ years of experience, preferably in the FinTech space.
• Deep proficiency in Python for data processing and pipeline development.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with large-scale datasets.
• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining high-performance modern lakehouse architectures.
• Experience with AI coding platforms to elevate productivity.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and comfort with ambiguity.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and Apache Spark.
• Experience with digital assets and blockchain.
• Experience at a banking-as-a-service or payment-as-a-service business.
