Fabric Data Engineer (Microsoft Fabric)

What you will do

• Design and implement robust lakehouses and data pipelines within the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem.
• Establish engineering standards including CI/CD, automated testing, and version control for data platforms.
• Define architectural patterns for workspace management, environment promotion, and scalability.
• Collaborate with diverse client teams to align stakeholders and drive informed design decisions.
• Stay current with broader cloud ecosystems (Azure, AWS, GCP) and open-source tooling.
• Mentor client engineers and contribute to the internal hirify.global Data community.

Requirements

• Must reside in the Netherlands.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Data Engineering.
• At least 1.5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong proficiency in software engineering fundamentals (CI/CD, testing, version control).
• Experience with or interest in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and tools like Spark, Terraform, or dbt.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical designs and align stakeholders.
