Senior Software Engineer: Platform (Developer Platform): Owning and evolving the developer platform that powers hirify.global engineering, with an accent on paved paths/self-serve tooling, CI/CD and build tooling, and developer experience across backend and frontend workflows. Focus on designing and shipping internal tools that remove friction, steward GraphQL/gRPC middleware and schema sharing, and integrate IAM, container orchestration, and observability so engineers can run, debug, and secure services confidently.

What you will do

• Own and evolve the developer platform, including paved paths and self-serve tooling that make the right thing easy.
• Build and support CI/CD pipelines and build tooling, plus artifact repositories for reliable engineering workflows.
• Improve backend and frontend developer experience and internal build/deploy processes.
• Steward the GraphQL and gRPC ecosystem (middleware, federation, schema sharing, CLIs, codegen, servers/clients).
• Evolve IAM solutions and primitives to keep everything secure and easy by default.
• Enable engineers to use container orchestration and observability stacks for running, understanding, and debugging services.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including building developer platforms or internal tooling used by other engineers.
• Deep full-stack instincts across backend services, frontend build pipelines, CI configuration, and Kubernetes manifests.
• Hands-on experience with several of: CI/CD (GitHub Actions), container orchestration (Kubernetes), build tooling, GraphQL, gRPC, metrics, and artifact storage.
• Strong product instincts for internal users: identify what’s worth building and measure whether it worked.
• Ability to solve tech debt and fix broken systems, executing fixes or making migrations feel effortless.
• Excellent communication: run developer interviews and write clear design docs.

Nice to have

• Data-driven DevX development using metrics such as DORA.
• AWS experience.
• IAM at scale (JWT, OIDC, fine-grained authorization).
• Terraform experience.
