What you will do

• Design and develop robust backend services using FastAPI, Pydantic, and SQLAlchemy.
• Build and maintain API-driven data processing and orchestration frameworks.
• Implement efficient, scalable solutions using asynchronous Python (asyncio).
• Integrate applications with Azure data services including ADLS, ADF, and Databricks.
• Ensure high code quality through comprehensive testing with Pytest and rigorous code reviews.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Python backend development.
• Hands-on experience with FastAPI, Pydantic, and SQLAlchemy.
• Solid understanding of REST API design and microservices architecture.
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure and data platforms like ADLS or Databricks.
• Practical experience with Pytest and containerization tools like Docker.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Hoofddorp office in the Netherlands.

Nice to have

• Experience with performance testing and tuning.
• Knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Exposure to observability frameworks like OpenTelemetry.
• Background in data engineering or data platform ecosystems.
