What you will do

• Perform quality assurance reviews across compliance activities, including transaction-monitoring alerts.
• Investigate trade-surveillance alerts and document rationales for clearing or escalation.
• Assist with financial-crime investigations and prepare unusual transaction reports for the FIU.
• Conduct adverse-media screening on vendors and counterparties to identify material risks.
• Administer conflicts of interest and gifts processes, including maintaining the register.
• Support board reporting, internal audits, and regulatory examinations by preparing evidence.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in risk, compliance, or financial-crime roles within a regulated financial institution.
• Knowledge of MAR, MiFID II, MiCAR, and AML/CFT (Wwft) regulations.
• Familiarity with investment products and crypto-assets (equities, derivatives, FX, crypto).
• Analytical and investigative mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Based in the Netherlands (Amsterdam) or willing to relocate.
