Corporate Counsel (EMEA)

Corporate Counsel (EMEA): Providing commercial legal support to Sales and Channel organizations with an accent on SaaS agreements and technology transactions. Focus on mitigating risk, ensuring regulatory compliance for AI-powered cloud solutions, and collaborating with internal stakeholders across the EMEA region.

What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements including SaaS, channel partner, and professional services contracts.
• Provide practical legal advice to internal stakeholders across EMEA to ensure alignment with company processes.
• Collaborate with Data Privacy, Security, and Product teams on regulatory matters, including AI product compliance.
• Support RFP responses from a legal perspective.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments affecting cloud-based software solutions.
• Maintain and update company templates, playbooks, and guidance documents.

Requirements

• Law degree from an accredited Netherlands or EU law school.
• Licensed to practice law in the Netherlands or an EU jurisdiction.
• Experience negotiating contracts governed by Dutch law.
• 2–3 years PQE in TMT law at a reputable firm or in-house.
• Fluent Dutch language skills.
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of competition law in a technology context.
• Understanding of AI regulatory issues (e.g., EU AI Act).
• Familiarity with financial services regulations (DORA, EBA, PRA).
• Experience negotiating in the Nordics or Middle East.
• Ability to communicate in Italian, French, Spanish, or German.
