TL;DR

Data Analyst (Fintech): Designing and optimizing data flows for Asset and Liability Management (ALM) within a global banking environment with an accent on ETL processes and technical specifications. Focus on translating financial risk requirements into technical solutions and ensuring data quality for regulatory reporting.

Location: Onsite in Warsaw, Poland

Salary: 7 100 - 14 500 PLN

Global hub providing ALM and risk management services for ING Bank, coordinating across Amsterdam, Warsaw, and Manila.

What you will do

Bridge the gap between business stakeholders and IT developers by translating functional requirements into technical specifications.
Manage and optimize complex ETL processes on the in-house data platform.
Oversee the transformation and loading of finance data flows into QRM software.
Monitor data flow correctness and develop Data Quality controls and new data solutions.
Support reporting teams in the development of data marts and dashboards using Power BI.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in business analysis, data analytics, or data science within the banking sector.
Strong hands-on proficiency with SQL.
Experience with ETL, data lineage, and data reconciliation concepts.
Knowledge of data models and requirement gathering for data feeds.
Location: Must be based in Warsaw, Poland.

Nice to have

Experience with ALM software such as QRM, Fusion Risk, OneSumX, or Moody’s Analytics.
Knowledge of Asset and Liability Management (ALM) or Risk control and modelling.
Reporting skills, preferably using Power BI.
Master’s degree in econometrics, mathematics, economics, or IT.
Experience working with Agile (Scrum) methodologies.
