Senior Data Analyst (Data Analytics): Delivering data-driven solutions for a financial project with an accent on IT/investigative analysis, data modelling, and translating functional and non-functional requirements across business and IT. Focus on designing scalable data models, validating them against business needs, and collaborating in an agile cross-functional environment to improve analytical processes.

Location: Hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk / Warszawa / Łódź (2/3 days per week from the office)

Salary: 900 - 1200 PLN/day on B2B

What you will do

• Perform IT analysis, investigative data analysis, and data modelling to support development teams
• Drive and facilitate functional and non-functional requirements across multiple stakeholders
• Design sustainable, scalable solutions aligned with business needs
• Bridge business and IT teams to ensure transparency and clarity of requirements
• Analyze and validate data models to ensure they meet business requirements and support data consumption
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and analysts in an agile environment and contribute to continuous improvement

Requirements

• Strong analytical mindset with experience in requirements elicitation and problem solving
• Very good command of English for daily work
• Experience with relational database design, querying, and optimization
• Familiarity with Big Data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Hive, Impala, pySpark, HQL) and data processing concepts
• Hands-on experience with JSON and AVRO data formats
• Experience defining and documenting business and technical requirements

Nice to have

• Background in finance or banking
• Experience with standardized data models (e.g., Canonical Data Model)
• Programming experience with Python, R, or Java
• Experience with Jira and Bitbucket
