Hardware Engineer (Semiconductor)

Hardware Engineer (Semiconductor): Developing hardware systems and PCBA for products within the Semiconductor Test division with an accent on board schematic design and validation. Focus on creating design validation test plans, managing ECNs, and performing QA inspections on final designs.

Location: Must be local to Basak, Lapu-Lapu City, Philippines. No visa sponsorship or relocation provided.

What you will do

• Support the US Hardware engineering team in PCBA development
• Create board schematic designs based on customer requirements and specifications
• Process ECNs to release and modify designs as required
• Guide and provide technical assistance to PCB designers on parts placement and routing
• Perform QA inspections and design validation tests on new boards
• Coordinate with outside vendors and travel to the North Reading factory for final product verification

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
• Ability to interpret board schematics and proficiency with laboratory equipment
• Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office programs, including Visio
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Hands-on practical approach to problem solving and analytical skills

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Teamcenter
• Experience creating Printed Circuit Board outline drawings
