Salary: $77,000.00–$95,000.00 annually

What you will do

• Apply CVE methodologies to identify, evaluate, and realize cost potential and lead process/technology optimization at suppliers across the value chain.
• Coordinate proposal cost efforts by gathering and translating technical inputs into robust cost data for pricing decisions.
• Perform concept evaluations and development-related cost analysis with a focus on design-for-cost and design-for-assembly fundamentals.
• Analyze and assemble historical data for follow-on proposals, ensuring calculations are reasonable, transparent, and objective.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Engineering, Finance, and Supplier Quality Management on CVE strategic topics.
• Communicate estimating results clearly to customer pricing owners and executive leadership within tight time constraints.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or finance, with at least 3 years in a project-oriented or manufacturing support role.
• In-depth knowledge of engineering principles, mechanical drawings, and 3D models.
• Proven experience with bottom-up cost calculations and managing cross-functional projects.
• Strong data analysis, reporting, and Office skills (PowerPoint/Excel).
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to support value-driven decisions.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines during the business capture phase.
