What you will do

• Serve as the primary technical link between the factory and global field operations, diagnosing system-level failures remotely and on-site.
• Conduct failure analyses on field-returned equipment to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Author critical technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides and technical bulletins.
• Deliver instructional training on system integration, start-up, and maintenance to customers and field engineers.
• Collaborate in cross-functional forums (FMEA, Design Reviews) to translate field intelligence into product improvements.
• Analyze field failure data to identify trends and reduce overall system downtime.

Requirements

• BS degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in field service or customer technical support.
• Experience with vacuum, electrical, and mechanical systems in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to travel minimum 30%, both internationally and domestically.
• Working knowledge of IBD, IBE, CVD, PVD, and DLC processes.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SAP or comparable ERP systems for service order management.
• Knowledge of semiconductor equipment operations, automation, and industrial control systems.
