TL;DR

Lead CAE Engineer (Manufacturing): Leading and managing simulation-driven design and R&D activities to enable product innovation with an accent on Multiphysics simulations, digital twins, and predictive maintenance. Focus on implementing simulation technology roadmaps, validating analytical models, and mentoring the engineering team to drive simulation-led design decisions.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to North Olmsted, OH or Maumee, OH (Hybrid schedule)

Salary: $105,000 - $165,000 USD

What you will do

  • Lead and manage COE simulation-driven design and R&D activities.
  • Develop and implement a simulation technology roadmap to close capability gaps.
  • Support new product development through DFMEA validation and Multiphysics simulations.
  • Lead validation and correlation of analytical models with test and field data.
  • Create guided analysis workflows, templates, and simulation apps for the design team.
  • Manage high-performance computing infrastructure and act as a material subject matter expert.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in CAE simulation and technology implementation.
  • Hands-on experience with ANSYS Mechanical.
  • Proficiency in 3-D CAD (SolidWorks preferred).
  • Track record of driving simulation-led design decisions at system and component levels.
  • Strong communication skills for dealing with multiple levels of staff, customers, and suppliers.

Nice to have

  • Proficiency in Spanish or Mandarin.
