Lead CAE Engineer

Location: Hybrid schedule from the North Olmsted, Ohio or Maumee, Ohio offices, with remote days on Mondays and Fridays

Salary: $105,000–$165,000 USD annual base salary, plus an annual bonus or role-based sales incentive plan

What you will do

• Lead simulation-driven design, R&D activities, and the simulation technology roadmap.
• Implement modal-based systems engineering, digital twins, predictive maintenance strategies, and design-space exploration.
• Support DFMEA validation through multiphysics simulations and correlate analytical models with test and field data.
• Create guided analysis workflows, templates, simulation applications, performance plans, and training programs for engineering teams.
• Establish simulation governance, quality checks, and protocols to ensure analytical accuracy.
• Lead high-performance computing infrastructure implementation and maintain the company’s engineering materials database.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• At least 8 years of experience in CAE simulation and technology implementation.
• Hands-on experience with ANSYS Mechanical and proficiency in 3-D CAD; SolidWorks is preferred.
• Experience integrating simulation with test correlation, design optimization, and manufacturing considerations.
• Ability to drive simulation-led decisions at system and component levels and communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
• Strategic systems thinking, strong technical judgment, and the ability to lead and develop engineering talent.

Nice to have

• Spanish or Mandarin proficiency.
