Salary: $127,500 – $192,525 per year

What you will do
- Own the architecture, delivery, and technical strategy for scalable Transaction Monitoring services, APIs, and UI components.
- Lead the development of high‑throughput real‑time and batch processing capabilities for fraud and AML detection.
- Manage and develop a globally distributed engineering team, including hiring, coaching, and resource planning.
- Partner with Product, Compliance, Risk, and Data Science to define and deliver roadmap priorities.
- Oversee the full SDLC, ensuring strong engineering practices including CI/CD, secure coding, and automated testing.
- Lead resolution of critical production issues and drive root‑cause prevention across the platform.
Requirements
- 12+ years of software engineering experience.
- 5+ years of direct engineering leadership experience.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, Angular and/or React, PHP, and C#.
- Cloud-native engineering experience with AWS, including serverless, Docker/Kubernetes, and API Gateway.
- Experience with event-driven architectures (SNS, SQS, ActiveMQ, etc.) and distributed systems.
- Must be eligible to work in the US and pass a drug test.
Nice to have
- Experience building Transaction Monitoring, AML, fraud, or risk systems.
- Background in FinTech, financial services, or payments.
- Experience integrating rules engines or ML models into detection workflows.
