What you will do

• Define and execute a unified release strategy across Java (JVM), Node.js, and iOS runtimes.
• Architect and build infrastructure that allows AI coding agents to safely propose, validate, and ship changes.
• Develop release automation using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Buildkite, and artifact registries.
• Establish branching, versioning, and cut strategies, including trunk-based development and semantic versioning.
• Implement observability for deployments, including canary and progressive rollouts and fast rollback mechanisms.
• Ensure supply chain security and compliance via SLSA-aligned build provenance and dependency gating.

Requirements

• 8+ years in release engineering, build engineering, or developer infrastructure with technical leadership experience.
• Hands-on release experience with at least two of: JVM ecosystem, Node.js ecosystem, or iOS (Xcode/Fastlane).
• Deep expertise in CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Buildkite.
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or TypeScript) and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Pulumi).
• Advanced knowledge of Git internals and experience designing release governance for 100+ engineers.
• Proven track record of leading cross-team technical initiatives from design through rollout.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating AI coding agents (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) into development workflows.
• Familiarity with policy-as-code (OPA, Conftest) and attestation frameworks (Sigstore, in-toto, SLSA).
• Experience running iOS releases at scale, including certificate rotation and App Store review handling.
• Background in incident response and on-call leadership.
