What you will do

• Lead front-end project development including feasibility analysis, test fits, and scope definition.
• Manage consultant teams across all phases to ensure design intent and constructability.
• Serve as the primary Project Manager from programming through construction and handover.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and critical path activities.
• Oversee regulatory approvals, permitting, and procurement processes in compliance with corporate policies.
• Collaborate with business units, operations leadership, and finance stakeholders to translate needs into actionable projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture required.
• 10+ years of experience in master site planning, space planning, and construction management.
• 10+ years of experience coordinating with civil, structural, and MEP engineers.
• Must be able to work full-time on-site at the designated Universal City worksite.
• Proven leadership experience in managing complex projects and diverse professional teams.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to manage competing priorities in a matrixed environment.

Nice to have

• Licensure from the California Architects Board (CAB).
• Working knowledge of Los Angeles Building, Fire, CalGreen, and Accessibility codes.
• Strong experience negotiating complex design and construction contracts.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Smartsheet.
