What you will do
- Deploy the global Supplier Quality Strategy across the Europe region to achieve business objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of Supplier Quality Engineers.
- Drive timely closure of Supplier Corrective Actions (SCARs) and improve supplier QMS and manufacturing processes.
- Manage regional process ownership for APQP and PPAP to ensure successful product launches and transfers.
- Analyze regional supplier quality data to identify systemic issues and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain and Engineering to resolve complex technical challenges at the supplier level.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Quality Management, with at least 5 years in Supplier Quality Engineering or Supplier Development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, or Industrial preferred).
- Expertise in Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) methodologies such as 8D and 5-Why.
- Strong knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC), Capability Studies, and Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA).
- Deep application of Aerospace Quality Standards (AS9100 / ISO 9001).
- Must be based in or able to work in Tewkesbury, GBR on a hybrid schedule.
Nice to have
- Six Sigma Black Belt or PMP Certification.
- AS9100 Lead Auditor certification or significant prior auditing experience.
- Knowledge of UK CAA and EASA requirements.
- Experience with IAQG standards.
- Proficiency in advanced statistical software and data analysis tools.
