Location: Must be based in or able to relocate to Manchester, UK. Relocation and visa support available for candidates based in Europe.
Salary: £69,000–£76,000 (DOE) plus bonus and benefits.

What you will do
- Drive quality, stability, and performance across the wafer test area.
- Lead continuous improvement activities using Lean Six Sigma, FMEA, and change control.
- Own corrective actions to reduce customer complaints and process deviations.
- Support New Product Introduction to ensure manufacturability and capability standards.
- Manage area resources, including shift coverage, headcount planning, and skills flexibility.
- Coach and develop engineers and technicians through performance reviews and planning.
Requirements
- Degree level education in a relevant Engineering or STEM discipline or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in process optimization and quality management in manufacturing.
- Proven track record of leading improvement projects and statistical data analysis.
- Ability to work a rotating 12-hour shift pattern (7am-7pm, 4 days on, 4 days off).
- Strong understanding of quality management systems and industry standards.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of MOSFET device physics and parametric testing methodologies.
- Experience with automated inspection solutions.
- Familiarity with IATF-16949 and ISO-9001 standards.
- Six Sigma Greenbelt or equivalent competency.
