Salary: £69,000–£76,000 (DOE) plus bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Drive quality, stability, and performance across the wafer test area.
• Lead continuous improvement activities using Lean Six Sigma, FMEA, and change control.
• Own corrective actions to reduce customer complaints and process deviations.
• Support New Product Introduction to ensure manufacturability and capability standards.
• Manage area resources, including shift coverage, headcount planning, and skills flexibility.
• Coach and develop engineers and technicians through performance reviews and planning.

Requirements

• Degree level education in a relevant Engineering or STEM discipline or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in process optimization and quality management in manufacturing.
• Proven track record of leading improvement projects and statistical data analysis.
• Ability to work a rotating 12-hour shift pattern (7am-7pm, 4 days on, 4 days off).
• Strong understanding of quality management systems and industry standards.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of MOSFET device physics and parametric testing methodologies.
• Experience with automated inspection solutions.
• Familiarity with IATF-16949 and ISO-9001 standards.
• Six Sigma Greenbelt or equivalent competency.
