What you will do

• Manage AV technical personnel, scope, budget, and professional development.
• Oversee the AV system design process and installation for various scale entertainment projects, including marquee events.
• Coordinate workflows between Creative Development and Technical groups to ensure streamlined communication and scheduling.
• Provide onsite management for AV staff, vendors, and consultants.
• Drive R&D for AV equipment to stay ahead of industry technology and standards.
• Manage AV facilities and inventory at the Entertainment Production Center and Universal Studios Hollywood.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Theatrical Production or minimum 5 years of experience in AV system design and implementation.
• Extensive theme park experience in technical AV production for live theatrical entertainment.
• Expert knowledge of advanced audio, video, and control systems such as Q-SYS, Alcorn-McBride, and Dante networking.
• Proficiency with Yamaha/Allen & Heath consoles, amplifier distribution, and high-level speaker systems.
• Strong leadership and personnel management skills.
• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and nights as required.
