What you will do

• Design, simulate, and verify RFIC blocks including LNAs, PAs, Mixers, VCOs, and PLLs for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 5G standards.
• Perform detailed transistor-level circuit design and optimization for performance, power, and area.
• Conduct extensive pre-layout and post-layout simulations using Cadence Virtuoso, SpectreRF, and HFSS.
• Collaborate with system architects, digital design engineers, and test engineers to define specifications and ensure seamless integration.
• Supervise layout reviews and debug RFIC prototypes in the lab to resolve performance issues.
• Generate comprehensive design specifications, simulation reports, and test plans.

Requirements

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in RF/Microwave circuits.
• 5+ years of industry experience in RFIC design utilizing CMOS processes.
• Proficiency with Cadence Virtuoso, SpectreRF, EM simulators (HFSS, Momentum), and MATLAB.
• Hands-on experience with RF lab equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and signal generators.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully tape-out and characterize complex RFICs.
• Familiarity with wireless communication standards (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 5G, UWB).
