TL;DR

Senior Operations Coordinator (Engineering): Managing a team of Assembly and Test Technicians within the Space and Defense Group with an accent on operational targets and EHS liaison responsibilities. Focus on leading process improvements using Lean activities and providing technical expertise for complex setups and regulatory concerns.

Location: Onsite in Niagara Falls, NY. This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.

Salary: $80,000–$95,000 Annually

What you will do

  • Manage and supervise a team of Assembly and Test Technicians to achieve operational targets and service standards.
  • Act as EHS liaison, reporting incidents and coordinating emergency responses with employees and outside agencies.
  • Assign work, identify equipment and staffing needs, and coordinate the set-up of work areas.
  • Provide technical expertise and decisions on complex setups, operations, and regulatory concerns.
  • Identify, initiate, and lead process improvements and Lean activities to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
  • Provide leadership, facilitation, and coaching to support the performance and development of the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience, Associate's with 7+ years, or High School diploma with 11+ years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written, and computer work instructions in English.
  • Must have authorization to access U.S. export-controlled information.
