TL;DR
Sr. Manager, Retail Development (Sales) (Retail/CPG): Driving growth and product placement for brands within Food, Beauty & Care and Seasonal lines at Walmart and Sam’s Club with an accent on strategic account management and licensee partnerships. Focus on developing high-impact merchandise programs, managing the retail selling calendar, and achieving annual revenue targets through solution selling.
Location: Hybrid (must be based in Rogers, Arkansas). Requirement of at least four full days a week spent in office.

What you will do
- Identify and drive opportunities for brands within Food, Beauty & Care, and Seasonal lines at Walmart and Sam’s Club.
- Develop strategies to maximize IP product placement and revenue deliverables aligned with Walmart Annual Account Plans.
- Own the Walmart selling calendar, managing buyer meeting agendas, presentations, and timely recaps.
- Partner with licensee retail account teams to support the sell-in of IP and ensure digital excellence.
- Collaborate with internal Category, Franchise Strategy, Product Development, and Retail Marketing teams.
- Monitor travel and entertainment budgets and handle account-specific tracking and reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5+ years of National Account CPG sales experience in the Food business.
- Direct experience with Walmart or Sam’s Club is required.
- Expertise in solution selling, relationship building, strategic planning, and project management.
- Ability to work from the Rogers, AR office location for a minimum of four days a week.
- Strong understanding of eCommerce best practices and retail business operations.
Nice to have
- Experience in licensing.
- Familiarity with Scintilla, Madrid, Walmart +, and Walmart Connect.
