What you will do
- Lead structural design engineering and analysis for substation scopes on EPC projects.
- Perform complex research and develop recommendations for equipment and materials selection.
- Ensure all engineering work complies with budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering team members.
- Coordinate with internal and external project stakeholders to maintain positive client relations.
- Apply advanced engineering techniques to solve unique structural challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
- Minimum of 5 years of related professional work experience.
- Active PE License required to support Engineer of Record (EOR) requirements.
- Proficiency in 3D structural analysis and design software such as RISA-3D or STAAD.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience in client interaction.
- Ability to complete pre-employment background checks and screenings.
Nice to have
- Experience with utility-scale electrical substation and transmission systems.
- Structural design experience for electrical substation structures and foundations.
- Previous EPC project experience in a fast-paced environment.
