What you will do

• Lead structural design engineering and analysis for substation scopes on EPC projects.
• Perform complex research and develop recommendations for equipment and materials selection.
• Ensure all engineering work complies with budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering team members.
• Coordinate with internal and external project stakeholders to maintain positive client relations.
• Apply advanced engineering techniques to solve unique structural challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 5 years of related professional work experience.
• Active PE License required to support Engineer of Record (EOR) requirements.
• Proficiency in 3D structural analysis and design software such as RISA-3D or STAAD.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience in client interaction.
• Ability to complete pre-employment background checks and screenings.

Nice to have

• Experience with utility-scale electrical substation and transmission systems.
• Structural design experience for electrical substation structures and foundations.
• Previous EPC project experience in a fast-paced environment.
