What you will do

• Provide technical leadership and act as a subject matter expert for civil and structural design across multiple projects.
• Review complex plans to ensure alignment with company standards and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with project teams, vendors, and outside firms to explore innovative methods and technologies.
• Mentor engineers and support the development of engineering teams.
• Establish engineering metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure designs are compliant with local, state, and international building codes.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in civil, mechanical, or structural engineering from an ABET accredited college.
• Professional Engineering (PE) licensure required upon hire.
• At least 10 years of engineering leadership experience in energy or construction industries.
• Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
• Strong communication skills and ability to prioritize team goals.

Nice to have

• Experience with renewables, traditional power plants, or large industrial building design.
• Knowledge of system vibration analysis for large rotating equipment.
