Quality Manufacturing Inspector (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Buffalo, NY, with the work site in East Aurora, NY; Monday–Friday, first shift

Salary: $27.00–$35.00 per hour

What you will do

• Provide CMM inspection support for fabricated and machined parts across manufacturing departments.
• Run CMM inspection programs and perform manual inspections of simple to complex parts, components, and assemblies.
• Perform precision inspection and measurement operations using surface plates, height gauges, gauge blocks, indicators, and other gauging equipment.
• Interpret complex drawings, operation sheets, verbal instructions, engineering specifications, and military specifications.
• Support machinists with inspection equipment, drawing interpretation, and quality-related activities.
• Perform daily machine maintenance, calibration, and probe qualifications.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a quality or manufacturing setting.
• At least 1 year of experience operating a CMM, preferably Zeiss.
• Demonstrated expertise in GD&T and engineering drawing interpretation.
• High school diploma or GED preferred, or the ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer-based instructions in English.
• Ability to perform basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Access to U.S. export-controlled information is required.
