Senior Quality Inspector (Aerospace)

Location: Huntington Beach, California; on-site on the production floor

Salary: $29–$40 per hour

What you will do

• Inspect composite parts, molds, and tooling for internal use and customer delivery.
• Perform receiving inspections and verify incoming materials against specifications.
• Document findings, track non-conformances, and coordinate rework and disposition.
• Support and improve the AS9100-style Quality Management System.
• Enter inspection data into the Matrix MES and help refine digital quality tools.
• Collaborate with production, software, and engineering to improve quality and reduce defects.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Person due to access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.
• Hands-on experience using inspection tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and apply GD&T.
• Familiarity with AS9100 or similar Quality Management System standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to document and communicate quality issues clearly.
• Ability to perform prolonged standing and physical production-floor duties, including lifting up to 25 pounds.

Nice to have

• Three or more years of quality or inspection experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience with 3D surface scanning, Verisurf, or similar tools.
• Experience with MES, ERP, PLM, or QMS platforms such as Matrix, Jira, NX, or NetSuite.
• Experience handling First Article Inspections from start to finish.
