Epic Population Health Analyst (Healthcare)

Epic Population Health Analyst (Epic/Healthcare): Designing, building, and supporting Epic applications to optimize clinical and operational workflows with an accent on system integration, project management, and regulatory compliance. Focus on translating business requirements into reliable Epic configurations and ensuring the integrity of the application environment.
Location: Remote (Must be based in Ohio)

What you will do
- Gather and refine requirements to design Epic builds and map current-state workflows aligned with operational goals.
- Configure records, master files, and tools such as profiles, rules, and security classes while maintaining environment parity.
- Develop and execute unit, integrated, and UAT test plans to log and resolve defects.
- Collaborate with interface teams on HL7, FHIR, PDFs, and CCD/CCDA exchange workflows.
- Design and implement customized training programs and oversee the governance of the CareConnect curriculum.
- Manage service requests and incidents, meeting SLAs through robust triage and root-cause analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in system analysis and support within a healthcare environment.
- Epic Certifications: Compass Rose, Healthy Planet, Healthy Planet Link, EpicCare Link, and Care Everywhere.
- Experience with healthcare workflows, SDLC practices, system governance, and waterfall/agile methodologies.
- Must be based in Ohio to be eligible for remote work.
Nice to have
- Current Epic Certification or proficiency in modules such as HB, PB, Cadence, Referrals, Orders, or ClinDoc.
- Exposure to SQL, Clarity, Caboodle, or reporting tools like SlicerDicer and Radar.
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- Advanced degree (Master’s or higher) in a related field.
