TL;DR

Associate Systems Analyst (Healthcare): Supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of clinical software systems with an accent on troubleshooting, end-user training, and project coordination. Focus on ensuring system functionality, optimizing clinical workflows, and facilitating seamless data exchange within healthcare environments.

Location: Remote (USA). This position may require travel to West Virginia United Health System (WVUHS) facilities for implementations, training, and support.

What you will do

  • Assist in diagnosing and resolving IT issues to maintain system functionality.
  • Support system modifications, testing, and implementation of updates.
  • Manage user security settings and contribute to system enhancements.
  • Coordinate project tasks, including scheduling, documentation, and risk management.
  • Deliver end-user training and assess staff readiness for system adoption.
  • Collaborate with business partners to gather requirements and align technical solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field OR two years of relevant experience.
  • Foundational experience in analyzing business needs and documenting functional specifications.
  • Understanding of clinical data management and healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, DICOM).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Nice to have

  • Experience in clinical, imaging, or web application systems.
  • Proficiency in systems administration and reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of Cloud-based healthcare applications.
