What you will do

• Collaborate with IC design, systems, and firmware teams to translate customer requirements into product improvements.
• Review customer schematics and layouts for signal and power integrity best practices.
• Lead board-level bring-up and validation using advanced lab equipment like oscilloscopes and protocol analyzers.
• Develop technical collateral including reference designs, layout guidelines, and application notes.
• Provide expert debug support for complex customer issues on-site or remotely.
• Represent the company at trade shows and conduct technical training for field teams.

Requirements

• Must be based in Austin, TX, San Diego, CA, or San Jose, CA.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• 12+ years of experience in hardware design, applications engineering, or system validation.
• Deep understanding of high-speed SerDes fundamentals, channel loss, and jitter.
• Proficiency in PCB design for high-speed applications and SI/PI simulation tools.
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment including VNA, BERT, and high-bandwidth oscilloscopes.
