What you will do

• Manage Supplemental Workers’ Compensation (SWC) claims, including wage calculations and payment processing for the U.S. portfolio.
• Oversee self-insurance compliance by completing state-required filings, renewals, letters of credit, and bonds.
• Lead SOX compliance activities for North America, including controls oversight and auditor coordination.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation, FMLA, and leave management data entry within Workday.
• Deliver monthly analyses and ad-hoc reports using Risktrac to provide insights to leadership and vendors.
• Identify trends and recommend process enhancements for location-specific workers’ compensation programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Risk Management, HR, Finance, or Compliance.
• 3+ years of professional experience in Accounting, Audit, Compliance, HR, Payroll, or Project Management.
• Ability to work onsite in Akron, OH.

Nice to have

• Exposure to absence management, claims handling, or self-insurance/high-deductible insurance programs.
• Professional certifications such as ARM, CPCU, AIC, or CRM.
