Software Architect

What you will do

• Lead architecture and design of innovative, high-performance solutions supporting NXP’s advanced technologies and products.
• Collaborate with product management, R&D, and customer-facing teams to define and refine solution requirements and roadmaps.
• Translate complex customer requirements into scalable, modular system architectures and actionable engineering plans.
• Guide and mentor cross-functional engineering teams across the full solution lifecycle from concept through deployment and support.
• Drive technical due diligence and feasibility studies for new technology initiatives and strategic customer engagements.
• Present solution architectures to executive stakeholders, customers, and partners; identify and mitigate architectural risks to meet quality, reliability, and security standards.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience architecting and engineering complex solutions in semiconductor, EDA, or related high-tech industries.
• Expert-level system architecture experience, including SoC design, verification methodologies, and IP integration.
• Strong knowledge of hardware/software co-design, cloud-enabled workflows, and advanced process technologies.
• Proficiency with industry-standard tools and platforms such as Verilog, VHDL, SystemVerilog, UVM, RTL design, simulation, emulation, and cloud orchestration.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and manage large-scale, cross-functional projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related track.
