Principal Application & Product Architect (.NET)

Location: USA - Tampa, FL

Salary: $133,400–$238,400 USD, plus bonus eligibility

What you will do

• Own and evolve application and product architecture for TeamMate products across legacy and modernized components.
• Define architectural standards, lead decisions for new features and refactoring, and guide modernization initiatives.
• Lead FedRAMP and security initiatives, including audits, penetration testing, vulnerability remediation, and assessor communications.
• Partner with Product Management and Engineering on requirements, PI planning, feature slicing, estimation, technical debt, and performance improvements.
• Mentor architects and senior engineers and facilitate design reviews and architectural forums.
• Represent engineering in customer-facing and cross-organizational discussions about architecture, security, and compliance.

Requirements

• 15+ years of enterprise software development experience and 7+ years architecting cloud-based products.
• Experience with Microsoft .NET technologies, SQL Server, Azure PaaS services, containers, and modular loosely coupled systems.
• Experience designing scalable, performant, secure hosted/SaaS solutions and databases.
• Experience leading and influencing architects, delivering SaaS systems, and collaborating with business and engineering stakeholders.
• Knowledge of localization, globalization, security, performance, integrations, product releases, code reviews, and defect management.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or an equivalent field.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of OWASP ASVS v4 or later and FedRAMP security requirements.
• Experience with AI-enabled SDLC practices, LLM-based GenAI, and agentic workflows.
• Understanding of Agile SDLC and SAFe.
