What you will do

• Develop end-to-end CPU architecture specifications and define targets for performance, power, and area.
• Invent and specify novel microarchitectural features to address future segment needs.
• Define and document new instructions to enhance ISA.
• Develop and execute test plans using functional models and advanced statistical analysis.
• Implement microarchitectural specifications in System Verilog when necessary to meet timing and power constraints.
• Collaborate with design, verification, and validation teams to influence project roadmaps.

Requirements

• 15+ years of consecutive experience in high-performance/high-frequency ARM or x86 CPU design or architecture.
• 10+ years of experience in out-of-order CPU pipeline sections, including instruction rename, schedulers, and execution units.
• 5+ years of experience writing and owning RTL through timing and power convergence.
• 2+ years of experience building advanced integer or floating-point/vector schedulers.
• Ability to debug complex microarchitecture and simulation issues.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and willing to pass an extended background investigation.
