Principal Software Architect

What you will do

• Architect and evolve scalable, performant, secure, and operationally ready software solutions across enterprise platforms.
• Establish architecture standards and apply design patterns across applications, integrations, APIs, and event-driven systems.
• Design resilient systems using asynchronous messaging, observability, authentication, authorization, and fault-tolerance principles.
• Collaborate with engineering, cloud, infrastructure, enterprise architecture, and platform teams on deployment, scalability, and reliability.
• Lead architecture reviews, design oversight, documentation, governance, and trade-off analysis.
• Mentor engineers, guide architectural decisions, evaluate emerging technologies, and influence teams without formal authority.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant work experience.
• Deep knowledge of software design patterns, microservices, service decomposition, API-driven architecture, and event-driven architecture.
• Practical experience with event modeling, event flows, publish/subscribe patterns, and event-based integration.
• Knowledge of security and resilience patterns, including authentication, authorization, fault tolerance, logging, metrics, and tracing.
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable, maintainable technical designs and conduct architecture and design reviews.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent coursework, experience, or extensive related professional experience may be considered.
