What you will do

• Design and optimize polymer-based PPTC formulations from initial concept to manufacturing scale-up.
• Lead the development of compounding processes to ensure consistent material properties.
• Enhance process capability in compounding and extrusion to improve yield and product quality.
• Manage external resources for material prototype production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring new material concepts to reality.
• Apply project management fundamentals to meet costing and scheduling goals.

Requirements

• Master or PhD in Chemistry, Material/Polymer Science, or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in polymer formulation, process equipment, and new product development.
• Proven expertise in polymer compounding and extrusion processes.
• Familiarity with material characterization methods such as DSC, TGA, rheology, FTIR, and SEM.
• Expertise in statistical process control (SPC) and design of experiments (DOE).
• Fluent English required.

Nice to have

• Experience scaling materials from R&D to initial manufacturing phases.
• Background in rubber, plastics, or specialized profile industries.
