What you will do

• Implement innovation ideas and lead CMF technology projects to support diversity, inclusivity, and sustainability.
• Evaluate manufacturing processes early in development to define critical process requirements.
• Investigate and validate new surface finishing techniques and equipment.
• Partner with Product Marketing, ID, and ME teams for materials selection and qualification.
• Manage molding and CMF suppliers to ensure smooth ramp-up and mass production for NPI.
• Perform supplier audits for new technology and evaluate costs of existing technologies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a CMF/ME engineer.
• 5+ years in industries such as electronics or sports goods involving molding, painting, and plastic decoration.
• Fluent English proficiency.
• Expertise in creative CMF engineering design and materials knowledge (plastics, metals, composites).
• Experience with color/appearance management and finishing processes (painting, printing, IMD).
• Skill in ISO auditing and managing partnerships with CMF suppliers.

Nice to have

• 3+ years of experience managing suppliers in high-volume or small-batch manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Chinese.
