Lead Financial Analyst

TL;DR

Lead Financial Analyst (FP&A/Cost & Reporting): Lead monthly forecasting and annual planning for North America Transportation and Warehousing and Supply Chain, driving financial consolidation across the Americas with an accent on month-end close, variance communication, and standardized/ad-hoc performance reporting. Focus on analyzing costs, improving reporting processes, and partnering with Accounting and Operations to support data-driven decisions using SAP, Hyperion, and Tableau.

What you will do

• Lead monthly forecasting and annual planning, including data collection, system submissions, and variance communication.
• Develop and distribute monthly financial performance reports; enhance reporting and information processes for clear, actionable insights.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses to support business and finance partners.
• Partner with Accounting to ensure financial results are accurately reflected and support internal/external reporting requirements, including competitor analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of experience in Accounting and Auditing (preferably in a large public accounting firm or large manufacturing organization).
• Experience interpreting and applying current U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Standards (U.S. GAAP).
• Experience with Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and cost center management / operations finance work.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of SAP or Hyperion (desired).
