What you will do
- Negotiate with customers to develop workable payment plans for accounts 31–60 days past due.
- Make outbound calls to secure successful payments or timely arrangements to resolve delinquencies.
- Meet and exceed daily and monthly goals while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
- Use skip-tracing tools to locate customers or collateral when needed.
- Reduce delinquency within the assigned queue and contribute to department-wide targets.
- Follow company policies and quality standards to ensure accurate, compliant, and professional customer experiences.
Requirements
- Location: On-site in Las Vegas, NV (Covered Care | LV Corp, 300 S 4th St, Las Vegas, NV 89101, USA)
- Type at least 35 WPM with strong computer and data-entry skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with professional phone etiquette.
- Understanding of collection laws, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook; comfortable navigating web-based applications.
- 2+ years of collections experience preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
