What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain software systems and features primarily using Go.
• Collaborate with SRE teams to ensure systems are resilient, scalable, and perform optimally.
• Participate in and lead architectural discussions and design reviews.
• Utilize observability systems and advanced analytics to diagnose issues and develop fixes.
• Ensure consistent code quality through peer reviews and CI/CD pipeline management.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices for video delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a relevant field.
• 5+ years of software development experience with expertise in Go or Python.
• Must be able to work from the office in Stamford, CT, at least 4 days per week.
• Proficiency in deploying software to cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP) using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and SRE practices.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with international teams.

Nice to have

• Production exposure to using CDNs for streaming media.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban.
