Salary: $172,000 - $349,000 (Annual base salary in California).

What you will do

• Define functional and design specifications in collaboration with product managers and architects.
• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, production-grade backend microservices.
• Identify and resolve complex performance bottlenecks and system issues.
• Apply deep networking expertise (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S) to build secure cloud-native solutions.
• Champion best practices including code reviews, CI/CD, and DevOps principles.
• Mentor other engineers and provide technical leadership across the engineering group.

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of professional software development experience.
• Proven expertise in Golang, Java, or Python.
• Strong experience with microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and fault tolerance.
• Experience with public cloud environments (AWS/GCP) and database technologies (PostgreSQL, NoSQL).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
