Location: Henley-on-Thames, UK. Must be based in or eligible to practice in the UK. Hybrid (spending at least four full days each week in the office).

What you will do

• Lead and oversee legal work for EMEA client agreements, including investment management mandates and strategic partnerships.
• Draft and negotiate sophisticated legal documentation with large international counterparties.
• Support EMEA Product and Distribution teams on complex legal and regulatory matters.
• Monitor regulatory developments impacting products and distribution to provide business-focused advice.
• Advise on legal risks associated with new strategies, products, and corporate initiatives.
• Collaborate with global Legal and Regulatory teams to maintain a solutions-oriented culture.

Requirements

• Significant post-qualification legal experience within asset management, financial services, or a top-tier law firm.
• Solid understanding of MiFID investment services and regulated funds frameworks.
• Legal qualification in a common-law jurisdiction with eligibility to practice in the UK.
• Proven experience managing negotiations with sophisticated counterparties.
• Proficiency in English at a professional level.

Nice to have

• Additional qualification in civil law.
• Business-level proficiency in German or Italian.
• Experience working across both common law and civil law systems.
