What you will do

• Provide legal, regulatory, and documentation support for strategic projects and core asset-servicing businesses.
• Advise on regulatory environments, licensing requirements, restructurings, M&A, liquidations, wind-downs, and mergers.
• Review, draft, and negotiate administration, outsourcing, banking, custody, trustee, regulatory reporting, intragroup, vendor, lease, property, and confidentiality agreements.
• Support and manage Legal projects, participate in project working groups, and coordinate communications with regulatory authorities.
• Respond to legal queries from operational teams, senior management, entity boards, and client-facing functions.
• Coordinate internal and external counsel, manage external legal spend, maintain legal precedents, and represent Legal on internal committees.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with at least 15 years of post-qualification experience.
• Valid practicing certificate in England and Wales required.
• Strong experience with UK and EU legislation and regulations, including Irish, UK, and Luxembourg funds.
• In-house legal experience, ideally within a bank, fund manager, or fund service provider.
• Experience advising on legal risk, regulatory matters, commercial agreements, and financial-services operations.
