Director, Legal (Specialist Function)

What you will do

• Provide legal, regulatory, and documentation support to FX Services, Fund of Fund Financing, and CLO Collateral Administration and Trustee Services.
• Draft and negotiate Currency Hedging Agreements, ISDAs, CLO administration and trustee documentation, loan documentation, and EMIR-related documents.
• Advise internal and external clients, operational teams, senior management, entity boards, and committees on legal, regulatory, and documentation matters.
• Manage negotiations, legal risk, internal approvals, external counsel, timelines, and legal spend.
• Maintain legal precedents, templates, guidelines, and internal knowledge resources.
• Support projects, new business initiatives, and the management of legal risk across key jurisdictions.

Requirements

• English law-qualified solicitor with a valid practising certificate.
• At least two years of financial services experience in-house at a bank or fund manager or in private practice.
• Experience or expertise in legal areas relevant to the supported businesses.
• Strong capability in legal advice, documentation drafting, negotiation, and regulatory support.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with EMIR, AIFMD, and MiFID.
