What you will do

• Advise the General Counsel, senior stakeholders, operational teams, client services, management, and entity boards on strategic projects and day-to-day legal matters.
• Provide legal, regulatory, and documentation support for fund administration, registrar and transfer agency, AML, banking, custody, trustee, and regulatory reporting businesses.
• Review, draft, negotiate, and manage commercial, intragroup, outsourcing, vendor, property, banking, trust, confidentiality, and regulatory agreements.
• Support or manage projects involving regulatory change, licensing, new products, M&A, reorganizations, liquidations, wind-downs, and mergers.
• Coordinate communications with regulatory authorities and work with internal and external counsel while managing legal spend.
• Maintain legal precedents and represent Legal on compliance, risk, and other internal committees.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with at least 15 years of post-qualification experience.
• Valid practicing certificate in England and Wales.
• Strong experience with UK and EU legislation and regulations.
• Experience with Irish, UK, and Luxembourg funds.
• In-house legal experience, preferably with a bank, fund manager, or fund services provider.
