Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 (bonus eligible)

What you will do

• Apply industrial engineering methods like queuing theory and capacity analysis to solve operational challenges.
• Conduct on-site observational studies to evaluate guest flow and operational performance.
• Develop and maintain analytical models for labor planning and demand forecasting.
• Extract and analyze data using SQL and Python to identify root causes of performance gaps.
• Build dashboards in Power BI to track KPIs and communicate insights to operational leaders.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to implement and test process improvements in a live environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in industrial engineering or operations analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with large datasets.
• Experience with data querying tools like SQL or Python.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Ability to work on-site in Universal City, CA at least four days per week.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Operations Research.
• Experience in theme parks, hospitality, or high-volume retail operations.
• Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma principles.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms like Snowflake or Azure.
